Outside of her mom duties, freelance production work and djing gigs, Chanté started multiple parties and continues to curate them as well as other events and community activations.

Pussy Control

In June of 2015, Chanté began Pussy Control as a way to create an environment for women to enjoy themselves while also supporting one another and to combat the lack of women-centric experiences. PC features all women djs, photographers, artists and performers. The event is semi-monthly at East Room.*

*Once a year, the event features a full male lineup on Valentine's Day.

GRLS

GRLS was created by Chanté in 2017.  The event is an intimate party featuring the GRLS dj duo with collaborator Essence Smith or SC.  The duo is now traveling and booking events under the same moniker but the original party is only in Chicago.
