Outside of her mom duties, freelance production work and djing gigs, Chanté started multiple parties and continues to curate them as well as other events and community activations.
In June of 2015, Chanté began Pussy Control as a way to create an environment for women to enjoy themselves while also supporting one another and to combat the lack of women-centric experiences. PC features all women djs, photographers, artists and performers. The event is semi-monthly at East Room.*
*Once a year, the event features a full male lineup on Valentine's Day.
Founded by Chanté in late 2015, Cliché is a by women for womxn exclusively inclusive collective that uplifts, empowers and brings exposure to creators via a womanist lens while also dismantling societal barriers with various art, events, and activations for culture as well as community growth.
